How do I request a book?

Can I put a book on hold?

Answer

If the library owns a book you would like to use but someone else has checked it out, you can request that it will be held for you when it is returned. To request a hold, search for Physical Holdings in the big search box. Make sure it is part of the circulating collection and is checked out. If you are not already signed into your library account, sign in via the link in the yellow bar.

After you have signed in, a Request link will appear. Click on it to complete your request.

Click on the request link

You will be notified by email when the book is available. It will be held for you for one week at the Circulation Desk.

*Please note that books on Reserve and books that are not checked out may not be placed on hold.
